That's right, the internet spreads vices, not just viruses. Viruses and immoral behaviour abound on the Internet where porn and gambling fuel the hunger from hundreds of millions of online users. There's no shortage of free porn and 24/7 gambling websites out there on the internet.

It's interesting to note how different social evolution throughout the early 21st century would have been if it were not for the internet. Would society still be comprised of depraved members all craving pornography and gambling? If the internet didn't provide images then would it still be used as much today? If lcd flat panel monitors didn't replace the old monochrome green screens of the 80s then would the internet have spread so quickly like a raging fire out of control?

If the internet were restricted to academic research and a source of pure learning and knowledge then would it still have grown so fast? I would venture that without full color images and videos, without the ability to indulge in our vices through this media the internet would not have had one-tenth of the remarkable success which it's had in our century.

The internet digs into the core of human nature, removes inhibitions and allows anonymous indulgence of vices. How many of us can truly say that we've never used the internet to let loose our moral apprehensions and give into our inner cravings?
